Aquaworld Resort Budapest

If you’re staying in Budapest for a family city break, it doesn’t have to be boring for kids. Located just a little bit outside of the center, you’ll find the huge indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Obviously that’s not everything – you can expect a variety of thrilling water slides, thermal spas, saunas, and a lazy river. Keep in mind that some slides have height restrictions and Hungarian are always verifying it. So if your kid is too small, he/she will not be allowed on the slide.

Zalakaros SPA

Zalakaros famous for its thermal baths and family-friendly atmosphere, is located in western Hungary. The aquapark is set in parkland, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor area has a large wave pool and several fun slides. The indoor thermal baths are perfect for parents who want to take a break. The kids’ area has shallow pools and smaller slides designed specifically for younger children.The park offers facilities like family changing rooms, making it convenient for families with little ones. You can book an accommodation in Park Inn by Radisson Hotel and Spa. The entrance fee to the aquapark as well as all inclusive option will be included in the price.

Győr Aquapark

Győr, located between Budapest and Vienna, may not be the first place you think of when it comes to aquaparks, but it’s a fantastic option for families looking for a modern and energetic atmosphere. The Győr Aquapark is a top choice, with its focus on adventure and fun. The park is relatively new, so everything feels modern and well-maintained.The kids’ area features a splash zone, a lazy river, and interactive water games. The indoor pool is also adjusted to the little ones. Older children and teens will enjoy the thrilling water slides, which include high-speed slides, looping tubes, and multi-lane racers. And I mean it, older children – the slides are really extreme.

The town is relatively small, so no matter where you choose your accommodation it will be within foot distance. Try Hotel ICON, which is just 4 minutes away and is for a good price. Or Hotel Klastrom, which is situated in an old monastery.

Is it worth it?

No matter which aquapark you choose, Hungary is full of family-friendly water fun. Hungarian aquaparks also tend to be more affordable than other in Europe. For instance, Suntago Park in Poland has admission fees starting at approximately 35 Eur. Overall, Hungarian aquaparks provide a balance of affordability, family-friendly features, and diverse attractions, making them a great choice for visitors.
