Zieleniec Ski Sport Arena – largest ski resort in Poland

Zieleniec Sport Arena is one of the best and the largest ski resorts in Poland. It’s situated between the peaks of the Orlickie and Bystrzyckie mountains and lying at an altitude of 800-960 meters. Even though the mountains are not high, there might be plenty of fun. Get ready for it! 

LONG SKIING SEASON 

One of the most important advantages and the distinguishing factor of Zieleniec, in comparison with other ski resorts in Poland, is the specific microclimate similar to the Alpine climate.  Thanks to this microclimate the ski season last longer here.  A large amount of snowfall (1300 mm during the year, of which 40% falls from November to March) causes that the snow remain here for about 150 days a year.

 

SKI TRAILS 

Zieleniec Ski Arena has 23 kilometres of ski slopes with 31 ski lifts (including 7 modern couch lifts). Basically everyone can find something for themselves. No matter if you’re a beginner or an advanced rider. Adventure skiers and snowboarders will get crazy on the black trail called “Na krechę” (Straight down the slope). Families with kids will find plenty of ski schools, blue trails and hills equipped for learning! The longest trail in Zieleniec is 2800 meters long. And 22 have artificial lighting, so that evening skiing is a must!!

Ticket are available at all ski stations Zieleniec. There’s also a possibility to pay by points, but I think hours tickets are more economical.
